Overview

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) has been on a roll with the U.S. Navy this June, raking in nearly $7B in contracts and advancing its unmanned systems portfolio. The defense heavyweight secured two hefty contracts: a $418M five-year IDIQ for shipboard elevator repair and maintenance, and a $283M frigate lead yard support deal. HII’s unmanned systems division continued its momentum with the delivery of the first REMUS 130 UUV to an international ally and advancing ROMULUS USV into at-sea testing for the Navy’s Medium Unmanned Surface Vessel (MUSV) program.
